Policies and FAQ

Cancellations

I kindly request a minimum of 48 hours notice when needing to cancel or reschedule your appointment. This time frame allows me to contact other guests that may be on my waiting list, and allow them to get into the salon before their scheduled appointment. You could be someone's day maker!

If you do cancel or reschedule your appointment with less than 48 hours notice, you will be subject to a cancellation fee equal to $25 per service booked. This fee must be paid before getting back on the schedule.

Late Policy

I'm going to be 20 minutes late- is that okay?

In efforts to keep everyone's schedule moving somewhat according to plan, I do enforce a 15 minute tardy policy. If you will be over 15 minutes behind to your scheduled start time, I may be able to get most of your services done but you will sacrifice the blowout/styling time. I may respectfully ask you to reschedule.

Redo Policy

I am unhappy with my service- what are my next steps?

First off- boo! It's NO fun to not like your hair. If you are in need of an adjustment, please let me know within 72 hours of your service, and (within reasonable limits) I will do everything I can to adjust the finished product to your liking. If requests are made to adjust your service more than one week removed from your original service, I am more than happy to make any changes needed, however, the adjustment service will be scheduled and charged as a new appointment.

No-show Policy

I did the big no-no of appointments and didn't call or show up. Is this mend-able?

It IS mend-able! Unfortunately, when stylists don't have enough time to fill an appointment spot, they end up with a gap in their schedule that they loose dollars on. My policy salon wide is that if an appointment is "no-showed", 100% of the would be total for the missed appointment will be due before the guest is able to reschedule.

I do understand that sometimes things come up unexpectedly and will do my best to work with you in case of an emergency.

Extra guests

Can I bring my children or a friend to the salon?

I strive to provide a space for calm and rejuvenation to take place. Due to the size of my studio and safety concerns, only guests receiving services may be present.

Major Changes

I decided to make a MAJOR change to a cut and/or color, and now that it's all said and done- I'm not so sure about my decision. What do I do?!

The answer to the question is a bit sticky, and dare I say, two part.

1. If we accomplished, within reasonable expectations, what the original goal was for our time together, then the next service to go thru and adjust the original outcome to a more comfortable option, will be schedule and charged as a new appointment.

2. If you came in wanting and having your heart set on pink and walked out with green- it's understandable why you're not likely in love. That issue is on me, and will be accommodated and shifted as soon as possible.

Either way, change is scary. It's fun, it's sassy, and it's terrifying. I highly encourage you to give yourself a few days to live in your new look, and make your final decision from there.
